Obituary for Barbara A. Saylor
Barbara A. Saylor, 85, of Rossford, passed away after a brief stay in Hospice, after months of illness. She was born in Toledo, Ohio to Wilbur “Bob” and Mary (Bratschi) Kraemer on June 5, 1931. Barbara married the love of her life, her high school sweetheart, Carl Saylor on May 2, 1953, and together they raised their four daughters. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. After graduation from Waite High School, she worked at Abbott Laboratories until the birth of her first child. She then volunteered for many school and church projects. Barb was an active member of Memorial United Church of Christ throughout her life, as well as her husband and daughters. She loved to travel, especially camping, road trips, and cruising. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Together Carl and Barb created a family vacation home in the beautiful pine forests of West Michigan. It is there at “The Woods” the entire family enjoyed many of their most blessed and memorable times with family and friends.
