Carolyn R. 'œCarol' Jeakle, 65, of Holland, Ohio passed away March 17, 2012 at her place of residence in Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek. She was born in Jackson, Mississippi on April 10, 1946 to Felix Taylor and Eva Johnson. Carol attended Libbey High School, was a proud homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her sons, Ronald E., Christopher J., and Anthony D. Sr. (Kallie) ; daughter, Elaine M. (John) Pence; sisters, Mary Hunt, Betty (Raymond) Robbins, Anne (Ben) Haskins, Sarah (Joe) Talamantez, and Jeanette (Will) Bennett; brother, Robert (Patricia) Taylor; grandchildren, Corrine Coon, Jada Rose, Anthony D., II and Emilyn L. Jeakle; Brianna E., Nicholas C. and Katherine E. Jeakle and their mother, Rachele Jeakle; Brandy Jeakle, Timothy, Matthew and Joshua Seeley; Amanda Jeakle and Brandon Wilson; nine great grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her parents Felix and Eva; and daughter Melissa Ann Jeakle; father of her children, Clyde 'œPete' C. Jeakle.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 South Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Wednesday March 21, 2012 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday with interment following in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek.
