Donald S. Pickard, 78, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021. Don was born in Bedford Township, Michigan on December 4, 1942 to Donald O. and Frances DeCola Pickard. He was a proud graduate of Central Catholic High School where he played catcher for the baseball team. He was a salesman with Metropolitan Distributing for 25 years retiring in 2003. Don never missed an occasion to support his grandchildren and his biggest joy was watching them excel in various sports or endeavors. He was a dedicated fan of the University of Michigan, Cleveland Indians and Browns. Surviving are his children, Amy (Mike) Feyes, Laurie (Steve) Luce and Mike (Sue) Pickard; grandchildren, Diana (Nick), Steve Jr. (Alex), Josh (Jessica), Ashley (Greg), Kayla (Kyle), Tyler (Emily), Shannon (Mike), Derek (Evie), Cody and Haley; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Scout, Baya, Aurora, Oliver, Hudson and Sterling. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Janice and son-in-law, Mark. Friends and family may visit Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. Oregon, Ohio, 43616 on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm. The family will also receive friends at Epiphany of the Lord, Sacred Heart Parish on Friday from 9:30 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
