Maxine S. Strunk, 76, of east Toledo passed away Friday, July 22, 2022 at Orchard Villa Nursing and Rehab. Maxine was born in Hazard County, Kentucky on September 19, 1945 to Earl and Ruth (Ballew) Pennington. Maxine's love for her family was unmeasurable. She was known for her heart of gold and her love for animals, taking many over the years. Surviving are her loving husband, Robert; children, Elizabeth Ann Gruhler, Robert Jr, Brian, Michael (Nikki) Strunk; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Maxine was preceded in death her parents and brother, Stanley.. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon on Wednesday, July 27 from 2:00 pm until the time of services at 7:00 pm. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Alzheimer Foundation.
