Sue Ann Fowler, of Curtice, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was the eldest daughter of Richard and Mary Belle Breier (nee Power). With strength, dignity, and an amazing amount of God's grace she left this earth to join her husband of 33 years, Ricky. Theirs was a shining example of a loving marriage. Their devotion knew no bounds, even after his death in 2008. Sue had a long career with the Secretary of the Navy as an investigator in the Office of the Naval Inspector General in Washington, DC. She returned to Ohio upon retirement. She and Rick enjoyed traveling, cruising, and spending winters at the beach in Florida. Visiting casinos and making memories with her friends and family was one of her favorite pastimes. Sue cherished her role as an Aunt. She especially enjoyed spoiling the children at Christmas. She leaves nine nieces and nephews, and ten great nieces and nephews to miss her immensely. Sue is survived by her siblings David (Marcia) Breier, Donna (Mike) Winslow, Donald Breier, Jerry (Jennifer) Breier, and her best friend and sister Patricia (John) Barber. Sincere heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Patti Ann Briggs, who has been, and continues to be a faithful touchstone and source of strength for this family. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy. Rd., Oregon, Ohio, 43616 on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 and on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 1:00 pm. Masks will be required, hugs limited and air kisses encouraged. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy in Sue's name may be directed to St. Mark Lutheran Church, 611 Woodville, Rd., Toledo or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
