Aaron James Michalski, 52, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on June 7, 1973, in Toledo, Ohio, to John and Darlin (Boettcher) Michalski. Aaron married the love of his life, Tammy Averkamp, in a private ceremony on October 31, 2018.Aaron enjoyed cooking and grilling-especially his famous "no-turn" chicken thighs-as well as mowing and taking great pride in maintaining his lush lawn. Known as the life of the party, he cherished spending time with family and friends and brought joy to every gathering. He worked as a logistics and materials specialist at Toledo Edison for 21 years.

Aaron is survived by his loving wife, Tammy; his parents, John (Charlene) Michalski and Darlin (Bob) Lamont; his brother, Brant (Janine) Michalski; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin and Ruth Michalski and Walter and Margaret Stepoler.

A Celebration of Aaron's life will be held Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Local 245 Union Hall, 705 Lime City Road, Rossford. Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home assisting the family with arrangements.
