Adelaide A. Curry 80, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022 at her home. Adelaide was born August 10, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio to Fred and Theresa (Boyer) Ludwig. In 1960, she graduated from Waite High School. Adelaide worked for AETNA Medical Insurance and retired as a deputy clerk with Toledo Municipal Court. She found great joy in reading and attending the events of her children and grandchildren. Adelaide is survived by her children, Russell (Deborah) Curry and Jamie (Dan) Avers; grandchildren, Heather (Nile) Zarour, Tiffany Curry, Kevin Curry, Jarod (Miranda) Gears, Jordyn Gears, and John Avers; great-grandchildren, Princeton, Aria, Laila, Liam, and Elyse; sisters-in-law, Janet Ludwig and Shirley Ludwig; and lifetime friend, Mary McLeary. Preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Fred Ludwig and Wayne Ludwig. Private funeral services will be held for immediate family.
