Adeline Rollins, 81, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2009, in her home. She was born in Chattanooga, TN on January 2, 1928 to James and Grace (Elliott) Hollifield. She worked on the production line at Hunt Wesson Foods for 20 years retiring in 1993. Adeline enjoyed playing cards and bingo in her spare time. Surviving are her daughter, Mary (Ray) Nichols, Donna (Tom) Buck and Wanda (David) Clark; son, Ernest Rollins; brothers, Sonny, Robert (Sarah) and Doug Hamilton; sister, Naomi Crossen; daughter-in-law, Sue Rollins; 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey; sons, James and Timothy; sisters, Reba Davis and Charlotte Shipper; brothers, Joe and Jim Hollifield. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Thursday, February 27, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Lake Township Cemetery.
