Agnes C. Swedren, 94, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Heartland of Oregon.
She was born in Clay Center, Ohio on January 14, 1916 to Andrew and Mary (Spisak) Swedren. Agnes was employed with Erie Army Depot for 23 years as a warehouse clerk. She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Agnes enjoyed baking and the many activities at Heartland where she had been a resident for the past four years.
Agnes is survived by her sisters, Josephine Swedren and Tillie (Roy) Bauman along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Mary Tokar, Margaret Busdeker; and brothers, Albert and Steven Swedren.
Friends may call at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road on Wednesday from 2:00-8:00 pm where a scripture service will be held at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 204 S. Main Street Genoa Thursday at 10:30 am where friends may call after 9:30 am. Interment will follow at Clay Township Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The family wishes to thank the staff of Heartland of Oregon for their care and compassion.
