Alanna Nicole Rodriguez, 20, went to rest peacefully with God on Friday, March 3, 2006. She was born on September 5, 1985, on a beautiful, sunny day in Toledo, Ohio. From day one her zest for life seemed unlimited. Alanna stole your heart as soon as she gave you her beautiful smile along with those big brown eyes and long curly black hair. She celebrated her pride for her Hispanic heritage by reaching out to the Latino community throughout her life. Alanna loved her music, singing, dancing and caring for her children. But most of all she had an overwhelming love for her family.
Alanna is survived by her loving mother, Nilda; loving grandparents, Santos and Gloria Rodriguez; great-grandma, Olivia Canales; loving uncle, Rick Rodriguez; uncle, Michael and aunt, Lisa Rodriguez, along with many cousins, aunts, uncles and endless friends. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Amado Canales and Isidro and Pudencina Rodriguez.
A time to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2006, in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. at Starr Ave. from 2 until 9 p.m. with a Rosary recital at 7 p.m. Family and friends may gather at St. Thomas Aquinas Church for a memorial Mass on Friday 11 a.m. Memorial contributions in Alanna's memory may be given to the family. They would also like to thank all the wonderful doctors and nurses that cared for Alanna. We thank you with all our hearts. God Bless You!
