Albert Hilt Sr., 59 of east Toledo, passed away Saturday April 12, 2003 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital after a long illness. Al was born on January 29, 1944 to Amila (Matyas) and Fredrick Hilt. He worked for Toledo Cut Stone until 1975. Al enjoyed fixing small engines and enjoyed fishing. He was a member of the DADS VFW Post 2510. On June 12, 1962 he married Janet Starr, who survives; also surviving are his children, Albert Jr. (Edna), twins David and Donald (Sandra), Robert, Christopher (Dawn); grandchildren, Jamie, Kayla, Kara, Taylor, Amanda, Daniel, Albert III, Kyle, Ryan, Errick, Christopher Jr.; sister, Barbara (Lester) Gruetter, special niece Delores Larson and many more nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Al was preceded in death by his parents,brothers, Fredrick Jr. and Pete. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon and where funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. A special thanks to Drs.
