Alda Geneva Sears Music, 85 of Millbury and formerly of Walbridge, Ohio went to be with her Lord, Friday, August 29, 2014 in her residence. Alda was born in West Virginia, on February 25, 1929 to Amos and Maymie Buckland. Alda will always be remembered as one who loved and cared for her family. Surviving are her children, Eleanor (Jim) Riffle, Lola Music, Melody (Joe) Selden, Duane Sears, Vernard (Judy)Sears, Vada Smith; grandchildren, Kevin, Michael, Heather, Jennifer (Nate), Deanna (Micah), Kate, Nicole (Omar), Laura, Megan, Bobby, Mary, Ruth, David, Jimmy, Mike, Larry; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Alda was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Daniel Sears and Eddie Music, son Benjamin Sears; daughter, Shelby Sears; granddaughter Amanda Rose; grandson, John; sister Pauline Britton, brothers, Denzil and William Buckland. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury on Tuesday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, in Neighborhood Freewill Baptist Church, 3409 Seaman Road, Oregon at 11:00 a.m. and where the family will greet friends one hour prior. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
