Alex Lakatos, 93, of Toledo, OH passed away May 25, 2005 in Orchard Villa. He was born in Toledo on January 31, 1912 to Sandor and Susie (Contos) Lakatos. Alex was employed as a boilermaker at the Pure Oil Co. for 25 yrs. and at the Toledo State Hospital for 9 yrs. He enjoyed bowling as a past time. Surviving are his sisters, Helen Reed and Pearl Hollo; niece, Sue (Gary) Cross and nephews, Terry (Brenda) and Dorman Reed. Alex was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Rose. There will be no visitation. Services and interment will be private. Contributions in Alex's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are being handled by the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Ave. Visitation: Visitation Times None
