Alexander Ochoa Jr., 74, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018. Alex was born on March 9, 1944 in Toledo, Ohio to Alexander and Mary (Laredo) Ochoa Sr. He retired from Dohler-Jarvis and worked construction for many years. Alex will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and friend. Alex is survived by his children, Frances (Robert) Martinez, Francisco Ochoa Sr, Pete (Mandi) Ochoa; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Jane, Janet, and Susie; brothers, Domingo, Robert, Henry, Daniel, David, Gilbert, and James,; along with many loving family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; former wife, Christine; sister, Mary; and brother, Roy. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 728 South St. Clair Street, Toledo at 11:00 am where the family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 am.
