Alfreda M. Niederhauser, 91, of Oregon, OH passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2005 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born in Marion, OH on January 21, 1914 to Fredrick and Wilma (Young) Artopoeus. Alfreda was the widow of W. Gail. Mrs. Niederhauser was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ. Surviving is her sister, Mildred Cool; brother, Rev. Otto Artopoeus; daughter-in-law, Ruth Ann Niederhauser; grandchildren, Mary Niederhauser and Dale Niederhauser; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Shantel and Cedric Jr. Gray; many nieces and nephews and special friends, Caroline Reddington, Ethel Moritz and Karen (Don) Johnson. Alfreda also was preceded in death by her daughter, June Sorensen; son, Gail "Gene" and sisters, Helen Sutton and Alice Dawson. Visitation will be held from 2 pm until 8pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road where funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
