Alice Gene Clark, 80, of Toledo, formerly of Graytown, Ohio passed away Monday, November 1, 2010 at home. She was born November, 14, 1929 to Carl and Bonawava Grant. She was a 1949 graduate of Salem-Oak Harbor High School and went on to college. She worked for Wilson Spice Company for a few years, she also worked at Blue Moon and then at Woolworth'™s, retiring with 25 years. She enjoyed riding motorcycles with her late husband, Lowell Clark. During their travels, they covered 48 states.
Mrs. Clark is survived by her sons, Terry (Mary) Clark, Joseph Clark, Tom (Becky) Clark, Ronnie (Linda) Clark, Richard Clark; daughters, Linda (Charles) Rook, Rebecca (Bill) Hornyak, Doralee (Michael) Coffman; 17 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell in 1996; sister, Pauline Schutte; great grandchild, David in 1998; daughters, Ruth in 1998 and Charlene in 2007; mother, Bonawava in 1985; and father, Carl in 1959.
Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Thursday, November 4, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Elliston Cemetery.
