Alice M. Cummins, 78, of Oregon, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital, Oregon. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 24, 1932 to Russell and Irene (Carl) Cummins. Alice served her country in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Alice worked for 26 years at National Super Service, retiring in 1996. Alice was a longtime member of St. Paul'™s Episcopal Church. She enjoyed golf, fishing, gardening, and bird watching. Alice was active at the Oregon Senior Center. Alice is survived by her partner, Virginia Patterson; sister, Evelyn Duffy; niece, Kathryn (Carl) Schulz; nephew, Robert Duffy, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Catherine, and brother, William. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Oregon on Sunday from 2;00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ravine Cemetery, Sylvania.
