Alice Himich, 80, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 6, 2003 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Pittsburg, PA on August 18, 1922 to Michael and Anna (Krizsak) Hager. Alice was employed by LOF as a glassworker, retiring in 1982.
She was the widow of Michael J. Himich and was a life-long member of St. Stephen
Catholic Church. Alice enjoyed spending her summers at her cottage on Black Lake in
northern Michigan.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Joyce (Donald) Hauter; grandchildren, Scott (Denise)Hauter and Kelly (James) Leatherman; great-grandchildren, Allison and James Leatherman and Kelsi and Zachary Hauter; sister, Laura Kusner; sister-in-law, Julie
Hager; brother-in-law, Frank Kral; special friends, Lucy, Alice and Jeanne. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, Jack Hager.
Friends may call at the Kinsey Funeral Home, Birmingham Chapel, 2001 Consaul Street,
on Sunday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home at 10:45 a.m.
on Monday, March 10, 2003 and proceed to St. Stephen Catholic Church for Mass of
Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Alice's memory are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The family would like to extend thanks to the staff of Hospice of NW
