Alice (Lanning) Martin Carter, 78 of Gibsonburg, OH passed away January 20, 2020 at Windsor Lane Health Care in Gibsonburg. She was born on October 12, 1941 in Southern Ohio to Melvin and Margaret (Koetter) Lanning. Alice worked in housekeeping, cooking and retail over the years, most recently at Meijer. Alice is survived by her children, Becky (Richard) Cousino, Brenda (Chris) Heartraft, Candy Carter, Donald Martin and Michael (Jamie) Martin; 19 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Paula Giffin; and brother, Melvin Frederick. Funeral services will be private.
