Alice K. Reyher, 76, of Northwood, Ohio, and formerly of Fresno, California, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born in Walialua, Hawaii on February 9, 1938 to Masaichi and Masano (Okatani) Ishida. For 11 years, Alice worked as an administrative assistant with the Fresno County Council Office, retiring in 2000. Her hobbies included gambling, gardening, and cooking. Her true passion was spending time with her family and friends who brought her much joy.
Alice is survived by her sons, Steven (Gerri) Reyher and Derek (Juanita) Reyher; grandchildren, Steven, Michael, Tiffany, and Kayla Reyher, Christy Pittman and Courtney Cousino; great-grandchildren, Levi, Noah, Savanna, Zoey, and Jeremiah; brother, Herbert Ishida; sisters, Yukiko Ige and Rose Nakamitsu; special nieces, Lynne, Lorraine, and Laura; her beloved lab, Bosco; along with many loving family members and friends throughout the world. Alice was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Hideo Ishida, Mikiharu Ishida, Haruo Ishida; and sister, Doris Kaneshige.
