Allen Keith Allred Sr. of Oregon, Ohio passed away Friday, September 27, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg surrounded by his loving family. Allen was born in Yale, Ok on March 14, 1940 to Renne and Hazel (Schoonover) Allred. He had worked 30 years for the former Foodtown Grocery Store. He was an avid lover of Flea Markets, garage sales and anything Ohio State. He looked forward to spending his days on the porch with his dog Elly May. Allen felt honored to have a close and caring family, and his family felt privileged to call him their husband, dad and papa. Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, Dorothy; children, Cynthia (Jack) Bohland, Allen (Kelley) Jr.; Michelle (Doug) Mutchler, Mark (Joanne); brother, Jack Allred Sr.; 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one on the way. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Pat Duvall, niece, Renee and nephew, Jack Jr. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Tuesday from 2-8 pm and where his funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Inurnment will be private at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
