Allen Clare Burrow, 84 of Toledo, passed away, Wednesday, August 17, 2019 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. Al was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 14, 1931 to Lawrence and Wilma (Allen) Burrow. Al, a U.S. Veteran had served with the U.S. Marines and the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He had for the former Toledo Sports Arena as a parking attendant, prior he had worked at Interlake Steel Corp. and ABC Security. Al was an avid reader, also enjoyed fishing and watching westerns. Al is survived by his children, Debra, Robert, Phillip (Penny) Burrow, Jean Marie (Warren) Hawkins; sister, Mary Wypyhoski; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Al was preceded in death by his parents, wife Yvonne "Bonnie"; daughter, Sue Zieman; brother, Larry Burrow; brother-in-law, Richard Wypyhoski. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday from 2:00 pm until the time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Private interment will take place in Lake Township Cemetery.
