Alma E. Seeger, 93, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2011, surrounded by her loving family at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 13, 1918 to Frederich and Emma (Loge) Hoffmann. Alma was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and belonged to the Ladies Aid Society and quilting group. Alma loved her family and enjoyed her pets. Surviving are her daughter, Janet (John) King; son, Dennis (Anne) Seeger; grandchildren, Julie (Scott), Richard, Mark (Gretchen), Paul, and Jonathan; great grandchildren, Lacey, Madison, and Zander; brother, Waldemar 'œCoke' Hoffmann, along with a niece and 3 nephews. Alma was preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl A., who passed away in 1972. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Monday, September 26, 2011 from 2:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 106 W. Plumer St. at Tracy Road, Toledo, Ohio on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Willow Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
