Almirea Jo. Reese, 88, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Parkcliffe of Northwood. She was born in Nelsonville, Ohio to Fred and Ruth (LaFever) Dalton on November 26, 1929. Shortly after graduating from Lake High School she married the love of her life Milton Reese on October 9, 1947. Jo worked in the sales department for various employers, but mostly at JC Penney's. She enjoyed cooking and was famous for her cookies and pies. Jo was known for her vegetable garden and was proud to feed her entire family and then some. What she cherished most was spending time with her family who will miss her dearly. Jo is survived by her sons, Paul (Debi), Robert A. Reese, Fred M. Reese; daughters, Boni Jo Reese and Barbara (James) Brossia; 9 grandchidlren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Fred, Doris, Susan, Sandy, Tom; many nieces, nephews and special friend, Sue Fowler. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Milton; 8 siblings; and companion, Richard Brier. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 11, 2018 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
