Alta E. Pena, 82, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Arbors of Oregon. She was born on August 17, 1929 in Webster Springs, West Virginia to Floyd and Flossie (McCourt) Payne. She married Blas Pena and he preceded her in death in 1996. Alta was a devoted Christian, attending many churches. Her true passion was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Alta is survived by her children, Neoma (Joseph) Kreais, Ana Maria (Lyle) O'™Dell, Carl (Carol) Ware, Estavan (Chris), Blas Jr., Joseph, Daniel, Juan, and Louis; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Harlin Payne and sisters, Lenora, Erma, Elsie, and Cora. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Manual, grandson, M.C. Lee, and her 4 brothers.
