Alvin Price, 78, of Walbridge, Ohio, formerly of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2005, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 17, 1926, to Emma (Hazlett) and Jasper Price. He retired from the City of Toledo in 1993. He was an usher and member of Faith Tabernacle Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Albert G., George E. and Albert C. Alvin is survived by his wife of 50 years, Molly; sister Evelyn (Richard) Cleveland; brother, Earl (Donna); sisters-in-law, Valerie Price, Emma Luce, Patsy (Phil) Bazin; children, Judy (Jim) Melton, Vickie (Lige) Grady, Chana Overstreet, Debra (Danny) Gallant, Teresa (Larry) Nichoson, Shelley Watson, James (Julie) and Rebecca (Dean) Krukemyer; 26 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Friends and family may visit at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio, on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. and on Friday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Faith Tabernacle Church of God, 6100 Wales Road, Northwood, Ohio. Interment will be private. Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to Faith Tabernacle Church of God or to the donor's choice.
