Alvin Edward Stuard, 63, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away suddenly, Friday, February 21, 2025 at home surrounded by loved ones. Alvin was born in Toledo, Ohio, April 25, 1961, to Alvin and Madonna Jean (Bladel) Stuard. He was a lifelong lover of hockey, cheering on the Detroit Red Wings and Toledo Walleye. An avid outdoorsman, Alvin enjoyed fishing with family and friends. Over the years, Alvin restored countless cars for family and friends.

Alvin is survived by his children, Amber (Rico) Herrera and Ben (Heather) Stuard; life partner Lynn Sweat and her children, Donnie and Tiffany; 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jean, Bernie (Darlene), Brenda (Art), Mike (Cindy), Sharon, and Karen (Irvin); dear friend, Mike Eischen; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members, dear friends, and his dogs. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Bud Stuard; and sister, Dawn Marie.

A celebration of Alvin's life will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Preferred memorials to the American Cancer Society.
