Amy Fox, 66, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully with her children and grandchildren by her side on Friday April 24, 2015 at the Monterey Care Center, Grove City, Ohio. Amy was born in Duluth, Minnesota on April 30, 1948 to Robert William Redway and Florence Elizabeth Sowell. Amy was an avid Michigan Wolverine and Pittsburg Steelers fan. She loved to cook for her family and friends and her feasts were always held to the highest standard with a healthy serving of love and fond memories. She was a selfless caregiver, whether it be a friend, neighbor or stranger that she could assist in any way. She had an amazingly sweet demeanor which was only matched by a tenacious stubborn streak. Amy survived many hardships over the years that made her an extremely strong, hardworking and independent woman. When not vigorously working, her favorite pastime was a day at the beach, soaking up the sun and spending the day with her loved ones. She fought gallantly to the end and will be forever missed by family and friends. Amy is survived by her children, Kelly (Donald) Martin, Jason Fox and Rachel Cousino, grandchildren Taylor, Connor, Katelyn and Aiden, siblings John (Barbara) Wright and Tay Gould, Godmother and best friend Fran Kajfasz. Amy is preceded in death by Robert Redway, Florence Sowell and Renee Wright. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 3pm – 7pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel. 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Clay Township Cemetery.
