Andrea 'œMargaret' F. Hornyak, 96, passed away June 21, 2010 at the Genoa Care Center. She was born in Lowber, PA on November 1, 1913 to Andrew and Veronica (Hanak) Boray. In her younger years, Margaret was employed at the Auto-Lite as a factory worker, retiring after 28 years. She and her husband, Steve A. Hornyak Jr., owned and operated Hornyak'™s Carry Out on Genesee Street for 17 years until 1977. Margaret was a member of St. Stephen'™s Catholic Church and it'™s Rosary Altar Society. Surviving are her sons, Stephen A., and Douglas R. (Mary Sue); grandson, Douglas R. Jr.; Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers and sister; granddaughter, Francis Irene. Family and friends may call at the Kinsey Funeral Home, Birmingham Chapel, 2001 Consaul St. on Thursday from 2-8 pm with recitation of the rosary at 4 pm. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Friday at 10:45 a.m. and proceed to St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
