Andrew L. Danisovszky, 87, of Oregon passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024.

He was born July 4, 1936, to parents, Andres and Mary Danisovszky, Hungary. He was a lifelong member of St. Stephens Parish. He established and operated his own Machine Repair Facility – Andrew and Sons Inc. Andrew loved to travel with his wife and family and for many years enjoyed his hobby as a private pilot.

He is survived by his loving children, sons, Louis (Patricia) Torda, Arthur (Cindy) Torda; daughter, Lisa (David) Thomas; grandchildren, Jessica (Chad) Gamby, Louis Torda, Melinda (Jimmy) Tucker, Andrew (Cassidy) Thomas; and great-granddaughter, Kenzie Tucker and great-grandson Kayden Tucker; sister-in-law Joanne Vining; Nephew Atilla Lonta; dear family friend Zoltan Csik. Andrew was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Mariska) Danisovszky; son, Andy Danisovszky; brother-in-law, James Vining; and sister and brother-in-law, Barbara (John) Lonta and Lajos (Mary) Danisovszky.

Guests will be received for a brief visitation at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of scripture services at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Epiphany of the Lord Parish, St. Stephens Catholic Church, 1880 Genesee St., Toledo, Ohio, 43605 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy and memorial contributions may be directed to St. Stephens Catholic Church or Heartland Hospice. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff at Bay Park Hospital for their compassionate care of their loved one.
