Andrew S. Jacob, age 83, of Sylvandale Avenue, Oregon, Ohio, passed away on April 2, 2015, in his daughter's home in Denver, Colorado. He was an only child, born on October 15, 1931, to the late Margaret M. (Mascsak) and Andrew J. Jacob of Whittemore St., and grew up in the Hungarian neighborhood of Birmingham. Andrew was a lifelong member of St. Stephen's Church parish, where he attended grade school and later was a parish lector. He attended Central Catholic High School, where he played trumpet in the band, graduating in 1949. Andrew went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force from 1952-56. He married Nancy Lou Truby, and during their marriage they had five children. Andrew, an electrician retired from Libbey Owens Ford, Rossford Plant and was a past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of Fatima Council #3564.
Andrew is survived by his daughter, Constance, Denver, Colorado; sons, Kenneth (Renetta), Livonia, Michigan, Stephen (Helen), Martin, Ohio, Randall (Pamela), Mesa, Arizona, and Andrew "Scott" (Jane), Nixa, Missouri. Andrew has ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
