Andrew P.Sharpy  Kerekes, 86, of Oregon passed away peacefully on Monday, March 12, 2007 in Heartland of Oregon.  Andrew was born on February 22, 1921 in Linwood, Michigan to Frank and Barbara (Kovacs) Kerekes.  Mr. Kerekes was an US Army veteran of World War II.  He was employed at the Daimler Chrysler Jeep plant as a detailer in the paint shop for 38 years before his retirement in 1980.  Andrew was a charter member of the VFW Post #2906 on Consaul Street.     Surviving are his sons, John (Judy), Jim (Rose) and Thomas (Dorothy) Kerekes; sister, Margaret Hayden; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Steve, George, Frank and Joe Kerekes; sister, Anna Maynhart.   Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at 11:00 am in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road where visitation will be on Monday from 2 to 9 pm.  Interment will be in North Oregon Cemetery.  The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
