Andrew F. Sinnes, 78, of Norhtwood, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2003 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Mr. Sinnes was born in Toledo on January 28, 1925 to Andrew J. and Louise (Trautner) Sinnes. He was a US Army veteran of World War II serving with the 125 AAA Battalion. Andrew was employed as a road driver for Yellow Freight for 30 years before his retirement. Mr. Sinnes was a member the Northwood Veterans of Foreign Wars #2984 and the Teamsters Local #20 and Local #299 in Detroit. Surviving are his wife, Raea; son, Randy Sinnes; stepdaughter, Raenae St. Julian; sisters, Mary L. Potter, Frances Casas and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday from 3-8PM at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd. Millbury, Ohio. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:15 am. and proceed to St. Ignatius Church for the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00 am. Interment to follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staffs and physicans at both St. Charles and St Vincent Hospitals for their loving care of Andrew.
