Ann M. Decant, 84, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 10, 2026, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, after an extended illness. Ann was born June 18, 1942, in Toledo, Ohio to Edward and Gladys (Kirk) Mettie. In 1960, Ann graduated from Clay High School. She married the love of her life, Richard Decant February 25, 1961. Ann was an avid reader and enjoyed tending the flower and vegetable gardens at her home.

Ann is survived by her children, Robert Decant, David (Sharon) Decant, and Jeanne Decant; grandchildren, Madisyn (Justin) Hoggard and Brooke (Tyler) Lecus; great-grandchildren, William & Waylon Hoggard; sister, Barbara Curry; and sister-in-law, Carol Mettie. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Renee; husband, Richard; and brother, William Mettie.

The family will receive friends at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 11:00 am until funeral service at 1:00 pm. Interment: Restlawn Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
