Anna Mae Ellis, 86, of Toledo, Ohio, flew away to heaven on February 16, 2015. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 1, 1928 to William and Helen (Borchardt) Wilson. On December 9, 1961 she married the love of her life, Jack W. Ellis, who preceded her in death. In her early years she enjoyed boating, fishing and camping. Anna Mae and her husband were proud to say they traveled to the contiguous United States. Anna Mae was a life long member of Harvest Tabernacle Church of God. She was an amazing person and will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Anna Mae is survived by her son, Robin (Joanie) Ellis; grandchildren, Delane, Paul and David Ellis; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie McMurry, Kathy (Jeff) McDonald; brother, William "Bill" (Nancy) Wilson; and four legged companion, Tinker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister and brother- in- law, Shirley and Bill Baker; and granddaughter, Faith Ellis.
Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 2-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at Harvest Tabernacle Church of God on Saturday, February 28, 2015 where the family will greet friends from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Anna Mae's name are asked to consider Harvest Tabernacle Church of God or Charity of Donor's Choice.
