Anna V. Fisher, 85, formerly of Northwood, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2008, at Kingston of Perrysburg. Anna was born in Bono, Ohio on February 17, 1922, to Richard and Virginia (Cutcher) DeCant. She was retired from Sears Department Store in 1986 after 12 years where she had been a sales clerk. Anna was Past President of Harborview Yacht Club Women's Auxiliary. Surviving are her sons, Charles (Louann), Donald (Sandra), Ronald, George, Larry (Wanda); 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grand-children; brothers, Earl (Donna) and Fred (Nita) DeCant. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Fisher whom she married on October 28, 1939; son, Ernest; brothers, Chester, Lambert, Donald, Roy, Richard and Norman DeCant. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Tuesday from 2-9 p.m. and where her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Anna's memory are asked to consider the donor's favorite charity.
