Anna J. (Sosko) LaPlante, 92, of Toledo, OH passed away Thursday, June 15, 2006 in Orchard Villa Nursing Home, Oregon, OH. She was born on December 14, 1913 to Steven and Julia (Kayuk) Sosko. For many years Annie would spend her summers in Catawba, OH enjoying the recreation of Lake Erie. She loved fishing and baseball, and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan.   Annie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold LaPlante; brothers, Steve and Fritz Sosko and sister, Agnes (Sosko) Roman. She is survived by her children, Martha (Morris) Collier, Anna (Richard) Green and Jim (Karen) LaPlante; sisters, Mary Ann Radocy and Julie Hager; 8 grandchildren and a multitude of great grandchildren.   Family and friends will be received at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday from 29 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Cemetery.
