Anna B. Rogers, 77, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital, Toledo. Anna was born in Alum Creek, West Virginia, to Edward and Mary (Henson) Smith. On August 24, 1955, she married Roy Rogers. Anna was employed as a manager with Waffle House and Holiday Inn Toledo for many years. She was a longtime member of the Red Hat Society, enjoyed playing bingo, and attending events at the Toledo Senior Center. Anna is survived by her children; Roy Rogers, Diana Rogers-Hernandez, David Rogers, and John (Emma) Rogers; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and sister, Dorothy Griffith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Donna Nutter, 4 sisters, and a brother. Friends may call at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday from 2:00-9:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest Cemetery.
