Anna M. Zajacz, 81, of Curtice, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Anna was born in Curtice, Ohio on December 16, 1931 to Joseph and Hazel (Sztahura) Hornyak. On November 15, 1958, she married John Zajacz. Anna was a lifelong member of St. Stephen'™s Catholic Church where she served as a volunteer at the parish school, served as a lector and Eucharistic Minister, and was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. Anna served as the office manager of St. Stephen'™s Catholic Church for 40 years, retiring in 2008. While at St. Stephen'™s, Anna was active in the life of the parish; helping cater many weddings and banquets at the church. She served as the church coordinator of the Birmingham Ethnic Festival for many years. Anna also enjoyed reading, gardening, and raising her family. Anna is survived by her children, John, Anne, and Michael Zajacz; siblings, Rosemary (Stephen) Vamos, Virginia Molnar, Joseph (Carol) Hornyak, and Tom (Laila Kujala) Hornyak; along with many nieces, nephews, and loving family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother-in-law, Elmer Molnar. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm where the Rosary will be recited at 5:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 10:00 am in Epiphany of the Lord Parish, St. Stephen'™s Church, 2018 Consaul Street Toledo, where the family will greet friends beginning at 9:00 am. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
