Annabelle L. Howe, 76, of Walbridge, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 14, 2023. Annabelle was born March 15, 1947, in Toledo, Ohio to Earl and Dorothy (Adkins) Mills. Annabelle was a lifelong resident of Walbridge, Ohio and graduated from Lake High School in 1965. She met a boy named Dan at the age of 10 and they became instant sweethearts, dating throughout their school years and marrying September 20, 1969. Annabelle treasured her many lifelong friendships and looked forward to meeting with her "Bunco" friends. For 20 years, Annabelle was employed with Sun Oil Refinery, retiring in 2007. An avid golfer, she enjoyed her weekly golf leagues at Hidden Hills and Chippewa Golf Clubs for many years. Annabelle enjoyed yearly cottage rentals in Michigan and spending time at the family lake homes on Crooked Lake and Lake Gage in Northeast Indiana. Annabelle and Dan enjoyed Caribbean Cruises and she was always in the midst of booking her next cruise.

Annabelle is survived by her husband of 53 years, Dan; daughter, Shannon (Matt) Schlumbohm; granddaughter, Mena Schlumbohm; sister, Sharon (Tom) Knieriem; sister-in-law, Gail (Jim) Swartz; brother-in-law, Jim (Sheila) Howe; along with many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. Preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Deloy Sebring; and sister-in-law, Toddy (Jim) Simmons.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east I-280) Wednesday, May 17, 2023, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment: Lake Township Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed in the form of contributions to a charity of the donor's choice.
