Anne Ziss of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully, Thursday, August 17, 2017. Anne was born in Cleveland, Ohio to John and Edna (Laudenslager) McKinley Sr. On November 27, 1948, she married Harold "Dick" Ziss and enjoyed 55 years of marriage. She worked as an assembler with General Motors Powertrain for 16 years, retiring in 1990. Her memberships included: Rossford Eagles, Coy Elementary Mothers Club, and American Legion Auxiliary. Anne enjoyed bowling and golfing with the Rossford Eagles, ballroom dancing, and traveling with her husband. She will be remembered for her fun and loving personality and contagious laugh. Anne is survived by her children, Marty Ziss, Barb Ziss, Jeannine (Pepe) Santoro, and Bill (Lori) Ziss; grandchildren, Jayson, Jodie, Sydney, and Jordan; great-grandchildren, Jack, Anna, Claire, Emily, and Penelope; along with many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; and brother, John McKinley Jr. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday, August 21, 2017 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm where the Rossford Eagles will conduct a memorial service at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Private interment will take place in Union Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Rossford Eagles.
