Ansel L. Henderson, 86, formerly of Northwood, Ohio passed away Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Lutheran Home at Toledo. Ansel was born on September 23, 1926 in Sterling, Illinois to Earl and Lorene (Brunk) Henderson. Ansel was married to Fern Barkey until her death in 1992. On February 13, 1993, he married Bonnie Parish. He was owner of Gibsonburg Auto Supply Company for 12 years, retiring in 1992. Ansel was a member of First Alliance Church, Toledo. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie; children, Brian (Susan) Henderson, Linda (Don) Herr, Eric (Marilyn) Henderson, Marcia (Donnie) Creekmore, Doreen (Marv) Davis and Greg Henderson; step children, James (Becky) Parish, Jeffery (Marje) Parrish, and Susan (Bill) Roger; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Ansel was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Fern; and sister, Betty Kropf.
