Anthony K. Johnson, 25, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 24, 2020 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 14, 1995 to Jomo Johnson and Angela (Schmidt) Grames. Anthony graduated from Waite High School and worked at Burger King for several years. He enjoyed many things in life, from watching movies, especially Toy Story with his favorite character, Woody, to Emperor's Groove. He loved everything about wrestling, whether it was on TV or playing on Xbox. Anthony's favorite Xbox game was Madden. He was an avid Michigan Wolverines and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. His faith was also very important in his life and he loved attending at the Vineyard as a child but most recently at the Family Christian Center. Most of all, Anthony was a people person, always outgoing and wanting to talk. Anthony had an infectious smile that carried throughout any room he stepped in. He had a kind soul and will be deeply missed by so many.
He is survived by his mother, Angela (Patrick) Grames; father, Jomo (Tammy Zeadker) Johnson; siblings, Christopher (Cassie), William, Tyra, Isaiah; grandparents, Austin (Jean) Crisp, Shirley Reddick; and many cousins, loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bennie Jones.
The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 11:00 am until the time of funeral service at 2:00 pm.
