Anthony "Tony" Louis Fox Sr., 54, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away December 15, 2008, at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. He was born on September 20, 1954 to Herman W. and Barbara (Ames) Fox. He had been employed as an iron worker with Local #55 and at Jeep for 16 years, retiring in 2006. Tony was a proud union member and devoted family man. For the past 17 years, Tony battled his illnesses and never complained. Tony was a beloved husband, father and grandfather, and will be deeply missed. Surviving are his loving wife of 35 years, Linda; sons, Anthony Jr. and Timothy Fox; grandchildren, Daniel, Calli and Chloe; mother, Barbara Fox; brothers, Michael, William and David; father-in-law, Frank S. Legeza Sr. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Herman; brother, Phillip and mother-in-law, Olga Legeza. Family and friends may visit at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with interment following in North Oregon Cemetery.
