Obituary

Antonio Lopez Sr. age 78, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014, at his residence while in the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Born in Laredo, Texas to Porfidio Sr. and Concepcion Vitela Lopez (d) preceded in death aslo by his wife of 54 years Maria (Duran) Lopez. Antonio is survived by his children Cynthia (Arturo), Koren, Vincente (Jennifer), Maria (John), Juan (Lisa) 21 Grandchildren & 41 Great Grandchildren also sister Manuela (Perez) and brother Pedro Sr. He was preceded in death by his sons Antonio Jr., Thomas Sr. & Martin Sr., and sisters Carmen (Trevino), Guadelupe (Huerta), Lilia (Marquez), Maria Elena (Sustayta) Margarita & brother Martin.He was retired from Libbey Owens Ford were he worked for 30 yrs & currently worked at El Camino Real during his retirement period where he loved working. He enjoy his family cook outs and gatherings, his music, playing the keyboard singing and dancing was his passion. & his wifes cooking. The family wishes to thank family and friends including Hospice of Northwest Ohio during Antonio'™s illness Viewing will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home 440 S. Coy on Monday 2:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday 4:00-8:00 p.m. A rosary and vigil will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Church in Oregon the family will greet friends an hour prior to the Mass. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Those wishing to make contributions may be made to the Lopez family.
