Obituary

Antonio M. Lopez passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2005, in his home. He was born on March 6, 1922, in Segun, Texas, to Asencion and Otila (Munoz) Lopez. He was married on March 8, 1947, to Leonor (Flores) and enjoyed 58 years of marriage. Antonio was employed as a construction worker and coordinated farm work with several area farms. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Genoa and enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and gardening. He also played baseball in the Minor Leagues. Antonio is survived by his loving wife, Leonor A.F.; children, Otila L. (Reynaldo) Borjas, Estela ( Esequiel) Escobar, Leonor Hernandez, Jose E.F. (Susana) Lopez, Aurora (Raul) Cardenas, Jorge A. (Vicky) Lopez, Juan David (Rosa) Lopez, Jose Luis F. (Gloria) Lopez, along with Victor, Lupe, and Graciela Lopez; 31 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents and 13 brothers and sisters; son, Antonio Jr.; daughter, Juanita, and grandchild, Veronica. Friends and family may visit on Thursday from 4-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-9 p.m. with Scripture services at 7 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, Ohio. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2005, and proceed to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Genoa, Ohio, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Clay Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, or the Lopez family. Visitation: Visitation Times Thursday, 4-9 pm & Friday, 2-9 pm Millbury Chapel
