Armdiller L. Schiavone, 93, of Oregon, OH, passed away December 17, 2012 at Bay Park Community Hospital. She was born in Decatur, IL on February 23, 1919 to Nathan and Edna (Hardy) Buchanan. In her earlier years, Armdiller was employed as a seamstress at the Lion Store and Fabric Circle before retiring in 1984. She enjoyed playing bunco with her bunco club and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She was active in the Knight'™s of Columbus Bowling League as well as the Columbiettes. Armdiller'™s family was her whole life and she will be greatly missed by them all. Surviving are the children, Carmela (Charles 'œChuck') Racz, Dorothy 'œDot' (Allen) Allred, Carol (Ted) Jeffries; sister, Rose Jackson; grandchildren, Gary Racz, Debra Evers, Gina Resendez, Cindy Bohland, Allen Allred Jr., Michelle Mutchler, Mark Allred, Roger Jeffries and Ann Jeffries; 15 great and 10 great-great grandchildren. Armdiller was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Louis who passed away in 1975. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. with a Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. Services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:15 a.m. with prayers and proceed to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 729 White St. for a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
