Arthur N. Gomoll, 87, passed away on May 17, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 14, 1928 to Henry and Alice Gomoll. Arthur is a US Air Force Veteran and went on to work as a tool and die maker for Ford Stamping until he retired in 1994. Arthur was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church on Yondota Rd. and the Cooley Canal Yacht Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and going to the Oregon Senior Center. Arthur is survived by his children, Thomas (Ann), Jerry (Marian) and Lisa (Scott) Miller; grandchildren, Tricia (Larry) McGuire, Lori Burket, Matt (Julie) Gomoll, Owen Miller; great-grandchildren, Madison Gomoll, Morgan Gomoll, Leah Burket; sisters, Mary Vargyas and Shirley Babcock; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna; brothers, Henry and Raymond. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Saturday in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in North Oregon Cemetery.
