Arthur Clinton Arthur C. Purtee, 79, of Toledo, OH passed away Monday, April 16, 2007, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Gibsonburg, OH on May 30, 1927, to the late Arthur and Violet (Gregg) Purtee. Arthur was a US Army veteran serving during WWII. He was employed at Blecknor Music for many years. He enjoyed restoring furniture, working with wood and cooking. Arthur was a very generous person and will be dearly missed. Surviving are his children, Alice, April, Audrey, Arthur, Aleeda, Anna, Andrew, Amos, Aron, Alex, Tessie, Terri and Adam; 7 brothers and sisters; 30 grandchildren and 18 great-grand-children. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, OH on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, from 12 until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
