Obituary

Artie L. (McDonald) Tinsley, 74, of Oregon , OH, passed away Friday, June 20, 2008, with all her children at her bedside. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on March 19, 1934, to Harem and Emma (Shellnut) McDonald. She was a homemaker most of her life and was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grand-mother. Artie enjoyed taking care of her flowers and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Bono Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, Tina (Gary) Manning, Karen (Bob) Free, Phillip Tinsley and Dawn (Marvin) Cowell; sisters, Lorene Hodges and Ludene Garrison; daughter-in-law, Cris Tinsley; grandchildren, Kelly (Tomas), Lisa, Kyle, Michael (April), Nathan, Kaelyn, Aimie (Nick), Terin, Cortnee, and Zackary; great-grandchildren, MaKayla, Nivelle and Kiley. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James, and brothers, Earl and Hubert McDonald. Friends and family may visit at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd., on Monday, June 23, 2008 from 2 until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery . Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Artie's name are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
